The light shining above is beyond every star.
As I clutched the velvet sky against the cold breeze.
As I sank in a pleasant dream of the wonderful moon.
My dear Clair de Lune.
You shine beautifully in my every dream,
If I had you covered my heart,
If I could stop the time, the dawn did not break through,
I would have the dearest you.
My lighted Clair de Lune.
I was a fool watching my shadow on the lake,
Trying to hold you on that glassed surface,
And the falling star dropped down, chased you away,
I was hurt while I prayed...
Make a wish to every star, wish you were here.
My high and far Clair de Lune.
The morn came, you had to hide.
Your trace would be faded and hard to find,
I would follow and say love to you again,
Cause my discovered Moon might be somewhere in pain.
My sweet Clair de Lune, the clear wind blows.
Do not stop for me, there is a long distance to go.
Just shine upon me, for my heart to hold.
